In November 2000, a group of believers got together with a concern. Our concern was that this “End-Time Message” delivered by the Prophet William Marrion Branham, had been tampered with so much, that the Message was no longer pure. This Message is designed solely for one purpose “To prepare a Bride for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ” and we were not sure that it was being presented as The Lord Jesus Christ designed and delivered it; without dilution. Only Believe Christian Assembly is the name we chose as we journeyed on.
The prophet said in An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages: The Smyrnaean Church Age:
“In every age we have exactly the same pattern. That is why the light comes through some God-given messenger in a certain area, and then from that messenger there spreads the light through the ministry of others who have been faithfully taught. But of course all those who go out don’t always learn how necessary it is to speak ONLY what the messenger has spoken. (Remember, Paul warned the people to say only what he said, I Corinthians 14:37, “If any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD. What? came the Word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?”) They add here, or take away there, and soon the message is no longer pure, and the revival dies down.”
Our concern was to see that “Bride’s Revival” prophesied by Brother Branham, break out among the Bride of Jesus Christ, to see a “church” pressing on for the manifestation of the sons of God, by God’s program.
This was the birth pain of Only Believe Christian Assembly.
In that travail came issues such as: The Holy Ghost Itself, The Concord Issue, Who is Our God and many more messages preached by Brother Archie our Pastor. Messages that laid a foundation of burden – a burden to see the Person of Jesus Christ birthed and tabernacled in His Bride.
Since November 2000, we have been humbly pressing on by His Grace, one step at a time as He leads. Our goal is defined, our vision is outlined, it reaches beyond the boundaries of a local gathering, to continually make sure that our program is not ours, but His.
It is our belief that the Message as the ‘mechanics and Dynamics’ of God will produce its aim. Its aim is our vision and is summed up in this quote:
It is the Rising of the Sun (Jeff. IN. 65-0418M):
“And if He, being the Groom, the Bride has to come forth, ’cause it’s part of Him. And it can only be the manifestation of the fulfilling of all of revelations and the others that spoke of the Bride. And it can only manifest… And if it does something different from the Groom, it isn’t the Bride, because She’s flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone, Life of His Life, power of His power. She is Him. As man and woman are one, and woman taken from his side, She has taken His Spirit (the feminish Spirit from Him), the flesh from His side, made both mechanics and Dynamics, the Wife–the Spirit of Him and the flesh of Him and put it together and made mechanics and Dynamics.
That’s the Easter message: the Dynamics and the mechanics together. The mechanics without the Dynamics, no good; neither is the Dynamics without the mechanics. You can scream and shout and jump up and down all you want to, and deny this Word; it won’t do any good. You’re just cranking around–the pistons of–got spark there to fire, but no gasoline to fire it by. It will only work as they come together. Amen. So one will set still and the other one will go up; that’s the only thing there is to it. Yet they both might look like, both claim to be churches, both claim to be brides, but one has mechanics and Dynamics. It brings it to pass. But what He said is the Truth.
It just won’t move, no matter how good the mechanics is, until the Dynamics come. When the Dynamics come, that Fire is made to connect with that octane in the gasoline. And when that explodes it, it causes a combustion, and that combustion moves every motion, every move, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That’s the resurrection; that’s the real power of God: mechanics with the Dynamics.”
This is our history and our future. We want to see a Bride placed. Adopted sons and daughters of God in fullness of power; manifesting in sweetness and humility as the Prophet said. Do pray for us as you read this, as we also remember every member of the Bride body in our prayers.
